That's the main thing, I think.. movies and merch. I wouldn't expect to see many crossovers for a while... though I expect someone is already hard at work on a Spider-Man roller coaster.
And the second thing reminds me of that "My Little Pony or Porn Star?" quiz from a few years ago...
it's kind of disappointing for some of marvels more interesting titles. we'll never see a film like punisher war zone again. upside is, DC/vertigo will look like cutting edge champs when they fianlly figure out how to make a frnachise out of transmetropolitan or planetary
Could be -- though I didn't see PWZ, so I can't really comment on its contents. But I wonder if we're so used to enormous companies by this point that the content of an adults-oriented title (like a MAX book) from a subsidiary won't reflect poorly on the Disney brand, as it might have in years past.
And yeah, I'd love to see DC start making Transmet movies... or a HBO TV show.
Speaking of which, I heard something about Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Mist) being attached to a treatment of The Walking Dead as a TV show. I'm keeping my fingers crossed... though I'm glad it'll be TV instead of a movie, which would miss the point of the series.
Haven't seen True Blood, but can't say it's high on my list.
Actually, I just learned another tidbit (which was probably out there the whole time): Darabont is working on The Walking Dead for AMC, not HBO or Showtime as I suspected. What a fun crossover with Mad Men and Breaking Bad that would be!

Probably just for the movie rights. I cant see Wolverine and Spider-Man meeting up with Tinkerbell and Thumper.
Damn, Disney characters sound more and more like porn names as I grow up.

so long as they NEVER get anyone remotely affiliated with true blood writing the script for either show, i'm in for either show.
