In the Pennsylvania Town of Eldred...

...everyone hates Corey and Kristie Chase.

And, give the facts laid out in the Sploid article, well they should. I'm just doing my part to make it a global shunning.

I bought a house next to a baseball/soccer field ON PURPOSE. I love having the field as a neighbor. We have a lovely screen of tall evergreen trees that keep most of the balls out of our yard.

What the hell is wrong with these people? What are they thinking?

Say what you what about the plantiffs the decision is well reasoned.

As a property owner with several old trees on my property, one should not be forced to maintain trees for an adjoiners benefit.

Welcome, Lobbyist!

You're probably right. But these people chose to move there, chose to cut the trees down (obviously within their rights), and they chose to sue (another right we all share). And a couple of judges now have decided their case has merit.

There may not be a legal recourse against them. But just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. And legal or not, they sure seem to be dicks.

So, for lack of a better solution, shunning seems appropriate.

Do you know what your prolem is...?

I don't you my name on the blog because as a lobbyist I don't have PUBLIC policy views.

Not sure entirely of the syntax of that last sentence, but yeah, Lobbyist, I've peered through your veil of secrecy.

We should dress you as a genie, send you to the mall, and have you tell people what their problem is.

My views on public policy are not public.

Oh, I got that -- my question was what "I don't you my name on the blog" meant -- I assume it means "I don't USE my name on the blog," but I guess it could mean "I don't GIVE YOU my name on the blog" or something similar. It amounts to the same thing, and I will respect your privacy, Norbert Wilkes of 322 Maple Street, Mesa, Arizona.
