Half Empty?

An optomist thinks Bush will take away all our rights. A pessismist thinks we'll be killed by terrorists before that happens.

Or is that the other way around?

The pessimist figures that Bush'll have time to take away all our rights before the terrorists kill us.
Why?
Because, after all, despite whatever color the Homeland Paranoia index is reading today, the real odds are that the terrorists are not going to be killing us all any time soon.

Hell, they're too busy celebrating the election results.

Although i was arguing the opposite point just this weekend, I'm not sure if there's anything optomistic about being left with Dick.

That said, I don't think a terrorist is getting anywhere near the president. He should keep an eye out for pretzels, though.
