The first rule of writing is, "Don't kill the [animal]." For some reason, you can do anything you want to (adult) human characters, but God forbid the horse should get a splinter. However, Wonder Boys broke this rule to great effect. I loved the movie but because of the dog I didn't let Chris watch it.; 3/14/2005 7:15 AM
