Did You Know?

In the phrase "handless mutant-retard," the hyphen makes it extra special!

err -- I meant "be," not "me."

Maybe I'd type better without hands, too...

I think the hyphen would only apply if you used it as a direct modifer:

"I'm an extra-special handless mutant-retard."

The way Rob phrased it, 'extra' was just a substitute for 'very.'

It's a judgment call, really. It could go either way. Check the Chicago Style Manual.

And to be perfectly fair to Anonymous (aka Sunshine), he did refer to you as a "handless, mutant-retard." I'm not sure how the comma applies, except maybe for emphasis.

I did, in fact, contemplate that potential hyphen before posting, and decided against it.
