One More Reason to Love Val:
The relevant part of the Superman mythos, in my opinion, wasn't his exploits once he came to Earth -- it was back on Krypton, when those assholes were given a heads-up and decided to sit on their thumbs.
This from an open letter where she holds forth on the nature of her blog, and what people seem to want it to be.Her blog isn't always comfortable to read, and sometimes what I read there infuriates me... but it's personal and honest and when she's right, she can be really right.
