dildos

Sorry, but I couldn't help thinking of your old idea, Rob, that the vague items in retailers named "'n' Things" or ", Etc." or "and Beyond" were dildos. Or dildoes.

Rob S. said...

Either is acceptable, but "dildos" is the preferred pluralization according to Merriam Webster's Collegiate 11th Editon.

Ah, the joys of being a copy editor...

(And "Editon" is a rarely used misspelling of "Edition." Thus proving the old adage that if you mention you're a copy editor, you will inevitably misspell something in close proxmity.)

Gee. And here I always thought it was dildi....

Rob S. said...

Nah -- dildi is what they use to make them in different colors...

Oh, and submissions are closed. Let the voting begin!
