Oh, how I wish there was a news outlet capable of covering the Pennsylvania primary race in Philly without hanging out at a cheese steak place. Yeah, they're proof that god loves us and the devil wants us dead sooner rather than later, but still. Morning Edition broadcast a report from Rick's Steaks at the Reading Terminal Market this morning...
...and I should not crave a cheese steak at 8:30 in the morning. There's no way that's natural.

At first I was a bit annoyed at the NPR news report this morning. Oooooh, let's go to Philly and talk to people getting cheesesteaks. It's not like CBS and Fox sports do that every weekend the Eagles play at home. It was nearly as bad as Clinton's references to Rocky.
But then I realized it was probably me being jealous since a) I was at Reading Terminal Market last week; b) I didn't get interviewed (Even tho' I'm from Jersey and my point would be irrelevent); and mostly c)that I had opted for chicken and waffles at the Penn Dutch counter instead of the cheesesteak. I'll take mine with mushrooms, onions and peppers, please.

Note:
Craving a cheese steak at 3:30 in the morning, however, is perfectly natural.
Considering this, I wonder if it would be natural to crave a cheese steak at 8:30 in the morning if you had not slept since 8:30 the previous evening.
Discuss.
Oh, absolutely. It might even be mandatory.
Cheese steak - it's not just for breakfast any more.
